Holy Week in Spain is the annual commemoration of the Passion of Jesus Christ celebrated by Catholic religious brotherhoods and fraternities that perform penanceprocessions on the streets of almost every Spanish city and town during the last week of Lent, the week immediately before Easter.This is a religious holiday. In Palma de Mallorca the most important is the “Sant Crist de la Sang” procession (Saint Christ of the blood). Starting Thursday the 24th at 19:00 in the General Hospital Square (next to the hospital). Its the most important processions since 1564.
